About Me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

When I was in my 20’s, I obtained a degree in 2 - Dimensional Design and Surface Decoration, including photography at both Hertfordshire and East London Universities. I didn’t pursue a career in photography at the time and ended up working for various companies such as John Lewis Oxford Street, B&Q and as a Bank Manager for a high street branch.

I met my husband, Dan in 2008 and joined him in his successful radiator restoration business,

Blast Spray Polish as Company Secretary, which I’m proud to still be involved with today part time.  However, throughout the years photography has always been my passion and this really stepped up a gear in 2014 when our son, Toby, was born.

In what was the most joyous time of my life, it was also a very difficult period as I suffered lasting ligament & joint damage which prevents me being able to do many physical activities I once enjoyed. However, I am so thankful to have my love of photography and I'm aways exploring and experimenting with new styles.

Having overcome numerous obstacles, I decided to bite the bullet and pursue my passion for photography. With Toby starting full time school it seemed the perfect time to continue my photography education and completed a Level 1 NCFE Photography course at Harlow Adult Community College. I followed this up with a Level 2 NCFE Photography course along with some up to date editing software courses.

More recently 2022 I have been capturing more wildlife which I'm very much enjoying and currently working on producing photo slates and making that an option for you to purchase alongside your photo shoots.

SIMPLE . TIMELESS . CLASSIC

Being a Mother myself, I completely understand how important it is to capture those treasured moments; the tiny hands, the little expressions that change over time.  I also know how challenging but rewarding being a parent can be and the different emotions parents go through daily, especially for those living with anxiety.  This is why it is so important to me that any photography experience you have with me is in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

All my images are carefully prepared over time and are creatively edited to give you the very best images possible.  I believe the photoshoot is important but equally, so is the editing. I wouldn’t produce an image that was, in my eyes, anything less than perfect!

So that’s me!  Thank you for taking the time to read a little about my journey and I hope to be able to capture some special moments for you to treasure for a life time.
